2008-2010 International Committee Chairmen
A committee is one or more persons, elected or appointed, to consider, investigate and/or take action on certain matters. Each appointed committee has five members, one from each region. One of the five is appointed as chairman by the international president. The committee chairman is responsible for:
- Defining committee responsibilities in accordance with the Constitution;
- Setting the agenda;
- Encouraging open participation among committee members, and
- Ensuring accomplishment of committee goals through committee participation.
