What Happened in Chicago? [09/05/08]
Connect to convention workshop handouts, convention actions, election results, photographs, and more. Leading with "Wisdom and Passion" highlighted not only the 2006-2008 biennium but also the 2008 International Convention July 22-26 in Chicago. Nearly 2,000 members and guests gathered for the biennial event.
From opening night activities which featured expansion and remarks from the Society’s newest state organization presidents to the banquet which closed events with retiring of the flags and singing “the song,” evaluations declared the event a success. Members of Lambda State (Illinois), international committees and boards, and headquarters staff who had spent countless hours preparing for the convention smiled as events unfolded as planned.

Building the Future for Women Educators and Education [05/19/08]
Informa tion and background about your dues
As a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, you understand that the future of our educational system depends on the development, support and leadership of women educators. You also know that education is a long-term investment, and that even the smallest economic shifts can mean escalating costs, shrinking budgets and difficult financial decisions. We have tried every means to do more with less, but we have come to a point where we must ask our members to step forward and invest proactively in the future of the Society.
