Panama Installation Planned for Nov. 27
Panama State Organization and Panama’s Alpha Chapter will be installed at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27. The ceremony will be held in the Hotel Riande Continental, Panama City, Monte Carlo Room. Dr. Carolyn Rants, international president; Mary Lee Makinen, Expansion Committee chair; Mury Palerm-Ferri, Latin America representative; and Jeannette Zuniga, organizer, will conduct the installation. Guests are welcome.
Following the program a buffet dinner in the hotel’s Acul Room will honor the new Panamanian members. Members planning to attend this function should send a check for $30 to Mary Lee Makinen to reserve space.
Anyone making hotel reservations will receive a special rate of $110 a night (before fees and taxes) by emailing vrivera@hotelesriande.com and noting a connection to the Society.
